At the Cambridge Library - a Poem by Yogesh Patel
One Ocean
Â
Tell the ocean
Not to be fooled by a man
Holding a broken mirror
Peddling a lie
That it shows an ocean divided
Â
Whales will tell you
There is only one ocean
There are two points
A place to feed
A place to breed
Â
The rest is the abracadabra
Of a migration
Â
Politicians will never tell you
Why there is no one nation
Why they are holding a mirror
